Ubi.ach is doll that alerts user with new email, and reads the last email in user's email account when it is patted. Ubiach is wirelessly conneted with user's computer by bluetooth. The software is installed on user's computer.Software Functions:
1. Communicate with Ubiach through RS232 over bluetooth. Java API: rxtx .
2.Get email from test account, ubiach@gmail.com. Java API: JavaMail.
3. Activates text to speech software on computer with email subject.
4.Send audio data over bluetooth to speakers inside Ubiach.
Ubi.chat
Ubi.chat is doll that giggles, laughs, viberates, etc. when user receivs certain emotions or words when he/she chats on IM. It is also wirelessly connected to computer through bluetooth.Software Functions:
1. Communicate with Ubiach through RS232 over bluetooth. Java API: rxtx .
2.Get instant message from test account, ubiach@yahoo.com. API: jYMSG.
3. Activates pre recored sound in user's computer and sends action infromation to ubi.chat according to different message.
